Greenfield Offers Medicare Information Session Monday, Nov. 21

gfnCouncilman David G. Greenfield is again partnering with the Medicare Rights Center and the Boro Park JCC to offer a free informational session on Medicare this Monday, Nov. 21. All local seniors with questions about the enrollment process or changes to their Medicare benefits are encouraged to attend.

“Applying for Medicare and using your Medicare benefits can be confusing, especially when so many seniors these days have so much going on in their lives. I urge everyone who is interested in applying for Medicare or learning more about their benefits to attend this information session.”

The event will be held on Monday, Nov. 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Greenfield’s district office, which is located at 4424 16th Avenue in Brooklyn.

The Medicare Rights Center is a national nonprofit consumer service organization that works to ensure access to affordable health care of older adults and people with disabilities through counseling and advocacy, educational programs and public policy initiatives. Staff from the Medicare Rights Center will be on hand Monday to answer your questions and assist you with any problems or concerns you may have regarding your Medicare benefits.

“The work that the Medicare Rights Center does is so important, which is why I am proud to have secured funding to support this great organization again this year,” Greenfield said.

If you have questions about the event, please call Greenfield’s office at (718) 853-2704.
