A farmer and resident of the Shomron community of Shilo on Sunday afternoon 9 Shevat, was attacked by Arabs in a field near the community. The man saw a vehicle occupied by four individuals near the community and approached in an effort to determine what they were looking for. They got out of the vehicle and began assaulting him with rods and stones.

He felt that he was in life-threatening danger he pulled out his licensed pistol. Seeing he was armed, the attackers backed off and left. The victim notified police of the attack.

Honenu reports it is amazing that police decided to detain and question the victim and as result, the organization is representing the Shilo farmer.
