Orthodox Jewish Chamber Of Commerce Opens Prestigious Wall Street Office – Ribbon Cutting Next Week

1It’s a new era at the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, as the renowned global business network under the leadership of Duvi Honig and Mrs. Odeleya Jacobs celebrates the grand opening of its New York City office. The office is located at 44 Wall Street, in the heart of Manhattan’s financial district.

A grand ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at the new office on Tuesday, March 7th, at 4:00 pm. A long list of business and community leaders, government officials, will attend. The co-host of the ceremony is preeminent Jewish investment giant and author, J. Morton Davis, who serves as Chairman of the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce.
Other VIPs in attendance include Inon Elroy, the Israeli government’s Economic Minister to North America; Deputy Manhattan Borough President Aldrin Bonilla; New Jersey Assemblyman Raj Mukherji, the lead sponsor of the state’s anti-BDS law; Brooklyn Councilman David Greenfield; Patrick J. Foye, Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and former New York State Deputy Secretary for Economic Development; Lieutenant Scott Pomerantz of the Port Authority Police Department, VIP Lieutenant of the World Trade Center Command; Marvin L. Schechter, Deputy Director of Empire State Development; and Rachel Van Tosh, Deputy Commissioner at the New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS).

The prestige and diversity of the attendees speaks to the significance of this moment in the Chamber’s history, as it blazes new trails in the economic development and public policy spheres, and build bridges between communities, governments, states and nations. The Chamber leadership has a close working relationship with the highest echelons of the White House, as well as prominent U.S. senators, Congressmen and state and city government officeholders from both parties. The Chamber aggressively lobbies at all government levels for business friendly policies and programs for our community and beyond.

The Chamber is also at the forefront in the global fight to protect Israel, and Jewish businesses from around the world, from anti-Semitism and the BDS movement. In recent months, the Chamber hosted an internationally publicized press conference outside the UN with former Ambassador John Bolton, as well as a “U.S. – Israel Business Alliance” mission to Israel with former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.
