1. Good for them! This should be done throughout the five boroughs and areas with snow. Let’s do our Hishtadlus, stay off the roads, thus IM”H preventing many accidents!

2. Where is Chris Christie (Why is the state of emergency being declared by the acting governor)?

3. Leave it to New Jersey. If they wouldnt care so much about their roads and instead worry about their drivers’ safety, then they would plow normally and not have to close down the whole state.

4. It amazes me to see so many nut jobs driving around in this weather and getting into accidents and spin out. Why cant people use their seichel and keep off the roads until they are clear. Are people really plain dumb?

   second my dad was just out helping a bunch of nutty ppl get their car out of the snow the snow plowers have not cleaned up the snow on Ave m in brooklyn by every corner there is another car stuck they should pass a law that no one should be allowed to go out the situation is terrible and the cit doesnt care to send out snow plowers ive never seen snow pile up so much in front of my house and i live on a very busy street!

8. I hope al gore is not hiding under his cover yelling global cooling is what I have meant! Under warming, he could still always cool off in his private jet or his mansion, his motorcade. In global cooling, he can’t really use any of the above! the only thing that helps is his blanket, Let him hide in there for eternity!

9. Dear Joe shmoe and kahanawasright,
   Please do your homework. Seriously. Al Gore is in it for the money and is a complete sell out, so I know you can’t take him seriously. However, the truth is that if you look at the overall temperatures there has been an overall slight rising, which has been attributed to increased pollution and the overall disregard for our beautiful planet given to us by God. This doesn’t mean there aren’t snowstorms, in the winter. Using this as an argument against global warming is absurd. Global warming refers to an overall slight increase- which is occurring. The point is we need to do our part to take better care of this wonderful planet that Gd gave to us. We can’t disregard our actions and throw our hands up to shomayim and say “he will take care of us”-it’s like the guy who runs in front of a bus and says Gd will save me. We are the ones polluting when we know what it is doing to our planet. Especially in the more haimish communities we need to do a better job of caring for our planet.

10. yoyo56 we don’t need a mommy state. if you feel you need to have a law for everything so that you know what to do, that’s your problem. Suggestion: GROW UP!
