With the Pesach cleaning tempo increasing in homes around the world, Chesed of Lakewood has launched Operation Clean once again, a program to bring desperately needed cleaning help to families in the midst of crisis. In its inaugural run last year, Project Clean supplied cleaning ladies for dozens of families, bringing a small measure of simchas yom tov and menuchas hanefesh to homes torn asunder by various, often multiple, challenges.
Chesed of Lakewood coordinators are working tirelessly to amass a database of viable cleaning women to match the hundreds of families on their roster. These are families who depend on this cleaning help to ensure their sanity remains intact through this most difficult of times, who cling to this priceless lifeline thrown to them by an organization who is so intuitive to their every need.
There are so many ways you, Lakewood resident, can partner with Chesed of Lakewood in this tremendous zechus.
Do you employ full time cleaning help whom you can offer to spare for a few hours a day or one day a week?
Do you have the time to volunteer to drive cleaning women to various homes?
Do you possess the organizational skills necessary to help undertake some of the complex coordinating efforts necessary to ensure the success of this project?
Are you fluent in another language, whether it is Spanish, Polish or Hungarian, and willing to aid in the communication between the various parties involved?
Are you unable to participate in terms of time, skills, or manpower, but do not want to miss out on participating in this monumental chesed? Sponsorships and dedications are available to alleviate some of the significant costs involved in orchestrating this project.
