The FDNY has transmitted a 4th alarm response for a fire at 269 West 113th Street near Powell Boulevard. FDNY reports that they have heavy fire on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of a 5 story 35 x 90 occupied multiple dwelling. The fire has also spread into the next door structure. Two additional FDNY trucks have been requested to the scene besides for the 4th alarm.
