At approximately 12:00PM Thursday afternoon, the Tiferes Bais Yaakov Girls School located at 170 N. Oberlin Avenue was evacuated after there was a  strong smell of smoke throughout the building.

The entire school was evacuated prior to the arrival of the Lakewood Fire Department.

Shortly after, the girls were able to return to their classes.

YWN is unaware of what caused the smoke condition.
