2:43PM EST: 1037 72nd Street @ 10th Avenue; Off duty F/F is reporting a male is buried in a trench. FD is responding with numerous units to assist in removing the victim.

2:49PM EST: The Battalion Chief on the scene is requesting a Vacuum-Truck forthwith. The trench is 8 Feet deep & 15 feet in length; One person is reported to be trapped. 70 Street & 11th Avenue will be the staging area for responding rescue personnel.

3:35PM EST: Units are continuing to work on the hole as EMS is getting into the hole for the recovery; This is now a DOA as per the Division chief.
