Twenty Sifrei Torah and Tehilim were vandalized at the Tzipori School in Bat Yam over Shabbos. Police tell the Jerusalem Post that they were ripped and scattered in the school’s yard. The identity of the vandals and circumstances surrounding the incident were unknown – and an investigation is underway.

there ws only ONE sefer torah, not twenty. (as reported by HNN)

does it mater if one or twenty sefer torah were destroyed. A sefer torah was destroyed!!
yes yuda, it does matter. there is a big difference between 1 and 20. If it would be a difference between one person killed and twenty you would say the same thing. one sefer torah is very chashuv, twenty sifrei torah would be a bigger churban.
