Monday Morning News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


Dozens of Arabs protesting in support of hunger striking terrorists imprisoned in Israel attacked IDF soldiers with rocks near al-Aroub south of Gush Etzion.

** PM Netanyahu announced at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting that additional police will be hired to combat nationwide crime.

** MK Gafne was ousted from the session voting to dissolve the Knesset after they tried to hurriedly advance alternate Tal Law. “They are murdering innocent people in the streets and all you worry about is the chareidim in the army” he shouted as he was ousted from the session.

** The government approved the appointment of Doron Cohen as director-general of the treasury.

** MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi called to dissolve the Knesset immediately to prevent advancing FM Lieberman’s bill to draft chareidim and Arabs into the IDF.
