Thursday Predawn CPR On A Two-Year-Old In Meah Shearim


A 2-year-old was found in cardiac arrest in his bed in Meah Shearim during the night. Magen David Adom was summoned at 3:30AM and the arriving unit began CPR on the child. The EMS team succeeded in resuscitating the child, who was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

Paramedic Yisrael Weingarten said “We arrived at the scene with bicycle units and found the child in cardiac arrest in beg. We began CPR and advanced resuscitation and transported the child after his spontaneous pulse returned, intubated and assisting respirations”.
