Jerusalem’s Public Transportation System & It’s Challenges

Some commuters proudly boast that after the introduction of the Jerusalem light rail service they managed to learn the new bus lines as well as the changes made in old lines to accommodate the city’s new public transportation realities.

Well, much of the information that works today will be outdated in a few days as another wave of changes will be upon Jerusalemites on June 29, 2012, including new and modified bus lines.

One of the announcements is there will 220 less buses on Agrippas Street as a result of the change beginning on the 29th.

The following link is to the official map of the new lines [in Hebrew].

When the report was prepared, the site was only updated in Hebrew, not English; hence the Hebrew map.
