Two soldiers who were mistaken for Arabs in a public park in Pardes Chana on Friday night were beaten by Jews, Reshet Bet correspondent Carmela Menashe reports. According to the soldiers, shouts of �You are Arabs� were directed at them as they were beaten with a blunt object.

The soldiers were not seriously injured, treated at Hillel Yafeh Hospital in Hadera. A complaint was filed with police in Rosh Ha�ayin and it was transferred for investigation to the Hadera station.

Police summoned the father of one of the soldiers to the hospital. He said �combatants are out on leave and attacked by criminals because they look like Arabs. It�s a disgrace� one of the fathers stated, adding �They tried to lynch him and it could have ended in death�.
