As construction moves ahead of the Gerer Beis Medrash, there are some discussions that will be taking place among contributors and they will be meeting to make the necessary decisions.
The new beis medrash in Yerushalayim with be near the existing one and in the future, it is expected to be the largest shul in Israel. On Sunday, 5 Elul, philanthropists and askanim will be involved in some of the decisions that will directly impact the division of space inside.
The contributors and askanim will be given a look at the inside and later on, an in-depth discussion will follow to determine how to proceed. The latter will be held in the Beis Malka Hall in Yerushalayim. Architect Aaron Estricher, who planned the Belzer Beis Medrash and currently building the Vishnitz Beis Medrash in Bnei Brak will be present. HaRav Rav Nechemia Alter, son of the Gerer Rebbe, Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and project manager HaChossid Yonasan Borstein are among others who will also be present as well.
Some of the discussions on the agenda include: the day-to-day in the beis medrash, the wisdom of the masses in a complex space, seating and standing areas, the how and where of the bleachers (פארנצעס), tea rooms to accommodate 40,000 cups in a one-hour period if possible. Mobility of equipment when required, tischen, preparing for smachos in the chassidus, galleries, closets for seforim, accommodating bochrim and avreichim alike, first aid room and much more.

sounds like an awful amount of tea being drunk….
THERE ALREADY IS AN EZRAS NOSHIM. THIS WILL ALSO BE EXPANDED IN THE NEW BAIS MEDRASH.
AS FOR THE TEA AND OR COFFEE BEING DRUNK, IF EVERYONE WOULD DRINK 2 CUPS….THAN 40,000 IS NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION. KEIN YIRBU!!!!!
