Many were looking forward to rappelling the walls of Jerusalem�s Old City or exploring Tzikiyahu�s Tunnel under the Old City, both activities offered to visitors in Yerushalayim during Chol Hamoed Sukkos.

However, when the local thundershowers hit a bit after 10:00am Tuesday morning Chol Hamoed, these activities as well as the newly reopened Ammunition Hill complex were suspended until the storm subsided.
