Many were looking forward to rappelling the walls of Jerusalem’s Old City or exploring Tzikiyahu’s Tunnel under the Old City, both activities offered to visitors in Yerushalayim during Chol Hamoed Sukkos.

However, when the local thundershowers hit a bit after 10:00am Tuesday morning Chol Hamoed, these activities as well as the newly reopened Ammunition Hill complex were suspended until the storm subsided.
