The Vishnitzer Rebbe Shlita was scheduled to depart from Israel on Thursday morning, 13 Cheshvan, heading to the United States for the chasenah of a grandchild next week. The rebbe’s flight plans however were delayed until Thursday evening as it appears someone forgot to renew the rebbe’s US visa, which had expired. The expired visa was noticed not too long before the flight and askanim began working immediately to have it renewed as expeditiously as possible.
Most of the family and contingent departed on schedule, with the exception of a few who remained behind to escort the rebbe. At the time of this report, the rebbe is scheduled to depart from Tel Aviv on the eve of 14 Cheshvan on the 12:45AM flight.
