Tractor Flips Over in Modi’in Illit Injuring Two


Two people were injured on Wednesday from a tractor that flipped over and landed on them in Modi’in Illit on Harav M’Ponavezh St. The street is located in the Green Park neighborhood of the city. The cause of the tractor flipping over has not been determined thus far. The driver was injured as was a passerby who was hit by the tractor when it fell.

The United Hatzalah Spokesperson’s Department issued a statement that said: “Two people were teated for injuries by the volunteers of United Hatzalah in Modi’in Illit. One was in moderate condition and the other was lightly injured. They injuries were sustained when a tractor flipped over at a constructions site in the Green Park section of the city. The injured were taken from the scene by another tractor and brought to the ambulances waiting for them near by.”

The Magen David Adom Spokesperson’s Department said: “Our emergency number of 101 received a call in the Ayalon region regarding a tractor that had flipped over on Harav mi Poniavez St in Modi’in Illit. MDA EMTs and paramedics transported the injured person, a 32-year-old male who sustained injuries to his limbs and was in severe condition, to Hadassah Har Hatzofim hospital in Jerusalem.
