Chareidi Suspect In Custody In Attack Against IDF Soldier In Beit Shemesh


Last week, YWN-ISRAEL reported an IDF soldier lost control of his vehicle and crashed while driving in Beit Shemesh. The soldier was targeted by someone who threw and object at him, causing him to lose control of the car and crash into a pole.

Police reported on Tuesday, 29 Teves that a suspect was arrested in the case. The suspect was arrested on Monday, arraigned on Tuesday and his detention extended as the investigation moves ahead.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gadi Eizenkott and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman are counted among the public officials who recently spoke out about coming down hard on anyone attacking IDF soldiers, as was the case here.

The suspect in custody is a member of the chareidi tzibur in Ramat Beit Shemesh, affiliated with the sikrikim.

  1. Do we have the name of the chayal for tehillim on his behalf for a refuah shelamah from any injuries he may have incurred and concurrently for severe punishment for the dreche that attached him.
