Police Investigating “Death To Bibi” Graffiti In Tel Aviv

On the sidewalk on Bilu Street in Tel Aviv, not far from Rothschild Blvd., the inscription “Death to Bibi” was written in chalk on Sunday morning. Residents of the area discovered the hate message and turned to the municipality to work to erase it.

The discovery of the address angered officials in the political establishment who strongly condemned the act. Minister of Transportation Yisrael Katz tweeted on Twitter that “graffiti in the center of Tel Aviv with the inscription ‘Death to Bibi’ is a serious incitement and crossing a red line, whether personal, ideological or opposition to the expulsion of labor infiltrators. We are approaching the edge of the abyss. Criminals must be quickly captured and punished in the fullest extent of the law.”

Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein tweeted: “Defamatory graffiti again. This time against the prime minister. When will we understand that incitement leads to violence? It is permissible to criticize, it is permissible to disagree – but it is forbidden to incite any prohibition.”

Minister of Communications Ayoub Kara added that “the incitement against the prime minister must stop, now and immediately. Do not say that the inscription is not on the wall, because it is smeared on the sidewalks of Tel Aviv – but it screams from the guillotines at the demonstrations, the works at Bezalel and so on. Unfortunately, there will always be people who will do something, because their blood is permitted – and only then may we be punished for sin. This incitement must stop, and the sooner the better.”
