Two suspects were caught on their way out of the driver’s license theory test with technological devices on them that helped them pass the test

The police investigation began a week ago with the receipt of a police report from the Licensing Office in Jerusalem, in which they suspect two people who came to take the test.

Police arrived within minutes to locate the two suspects, ages 19 and 28, and began questioning them.

The police noticed that the suspects were holding plastic soft drink bottles, and in a thorough examination, the police discovered that the bottles had been specially adapted and contained technological equipment that included a camera with long-range transmission capability. They also had wireless headsets.

The suspects were brought for questioning at the Moriah station on suspicion of fraud.

The investigation revealed suspicions that the suspects contacted another person who transferred the bottles and advanced equipment to them in order to assist them in passing the test, for a fee of thousands of shekels.

The suspects also came to the theory test with a bottle equipped with a camera, which was aimed in the direction of the questions, and the suspect’s earpiece received the correct answers from the other suspect.

The police investigation is continuing to locate additional suspects.
