90 Percent of Dati Leumi Want a Party Representative of Their Community


A poll has determined that Naftali Bennet is the best representative of the dati leumi community. The poll was conducted by the ‘HaGal HaChadash’ (New Wave) Institute and released in the Friday edition of Makor Rishon. The poll determined the dati leumi tzibur want to have a sectoral party.

Who best represents the interests of the dati leumi community today?

45% Bennet

18% Betzalel Smotrich

6% Ayelet Shaked

5% PM Binyamin Netanyahu

3% Bayit Yehudi party

3% Minister Uri Ariel

14% none of the above or undecided

Deputy Minister Eli Ben-Dahan and Deputy Minister Tzipi Hotevely, former MK Michael Ben-Ari, MK Moti Yogev, MK Oren Hazan, MK Yehuda Glick, MK Shuli Muallem, former MK Moshe Feiglin, Minister Aryeh Deri, Ichud Leumi, Shas, and rabbonim of dati leumi community all pulled in 1%.

90% yes

10% no need

81% in the future the need will continue to exist

19% there will not be a need in the future

35% Netanyahu is the best politician in their eyes today

18% say Ayelet Shaked takes second place

15% Say Naftali Bennet takes third place

8% Betzalel Smotrich in the fourth slot

3% Oren Hazan in the fifth slot

2% Sixth slot is shared between Minister Miri Regev and Minister Moshe Kahlon

11% cannot decide between them
