Indictment Filed Against Attacker of a Doctor in Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital


The suspect arrested in the recent assault against a doctor in Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem has been indicted. The attack occurred last week, and two Arab residents of the eastern capital were arrested, a 20-year-old man and his 48-year-old father. The younger suspect was being treated and he began the attack against the doctor in the emergency room, and his dad joined in. B’chasdei Hashem, the doctor was not seriously injured.

Following the police investigation, the Israel Police Prosecution Unit filed an indictment for assaulting an emergency worker and making threats against the younger suspect. Police requested he remain in custody until the end of the proceedings against him. There is no information regarding his dad.
