IDF Preparing for Field Hospital Along Northern Border

As intelligence officials predict an influx of refugees from Syria, fleeing the stepped-up civil war in that country, it appears the IDF is in the process of establishing a field hospital along the border area. The decision followed the move by soldiers to bring wounded Syrians across the border for treatment and transport to Tzfas’ Ziv Hospital.

It appears the new field hospital will be part of a new outpost as was reported by Channel 10 TV News. This will be in the area of Kunetra.

IDF and government officials announced earlier in the week that Israel does not plan to accept Syrian refugees, stating the treatment given to the handful of refugees was an exceptional one-time move.
