A 7-year-old boy was in serious condition on Monday afternoon, 16 Elul, after falling off his bike near the entrance to the chareidi community of Tel Tzion, in the Binyamin Regional Council area of Shomron.

United Hatzalah EMS personnel arrived on the scene, reporting the child’s condition was serious, exhibiting bruises and injuries to his head and upper torso. He was taken yo Hadassah Ein Karem hospital in Jerusalem.

The cause of his injuries is being investigation. Initial reports were that the child was struck by a vehicle, but it now appears he fells while trying to make a quick stop. Police are probing the matter.
