An explosive was hurled at a security vehicle in the Silwan area of the eastern capital. There was damage to the vehicle. B”H there were no injuries.

08:14:

An estimated 4,500 terrorists imprisoned in Israel will be hunger striking today.

10:49:

Hundreds of Arabs are hurling rocks at soldiers in the Hebron district and nearby el-Aroub. There are no immediate reports of injuries.

10:50:

A bus went up in flames near the Gush Etzion community of el-David (Nokdim) earlier today. Baruch Hashem there were no injuries.

11:15:

Physicians for Human Rights have requested permission from Israel Prison Authority officials to check four hunger striking Arabs. Three of them are hospitalized in Assaf HaRofeh and Soroka Hospitals and the fourth remains imprisoned at this time.

12:19:

One attacked shot and wounded in the lower extremities after throwing a firebomb at IDF soldiers near el-Aroub.

12:22:

About 50 Arabs beginning to attack IDF soldiers in the Tulkarem area.

12:30:

Israel blames the PA for inflaming the situation and encouraging the spreading violence. The Prime Minister’s Office sent a message to Abu Mazen to control the violence.

12:40:

Israel will be transferring $100 in tax funds to the PA so the PA will not have an excuse for the difficult situation, Israel Radio reports.

13:25:

Arab MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi supports the right of Arab security prisoners to hunger strike in their battle for fair and equal treatment in Israeli prisons.
