Terrorist Sentenced To 35 Years Imprisonment For The Attempted Murder Of Two Israeli Policepersons


Terrorist Ayman Kurd, 22, a resident of the village of Aqav, near Jerusalem, was charged with two counts of attempted murder. According to the indictment, on September 19, 2016, he arrived at the Shar Shechem area with a kitchen knife, followed a few policemen for a while and then attacked them and began to stab them. The policewoman who was wounded managed to shoot the terrorist and neutralize him.

On Wednesday morning, 3 Tishrei 5779, the court sentenced Ayman to 35 years imprisonment.

Policewoman Tzipi Yakubian, a mother of two, was critically wounded after she was hit in the spine and remains paralyzed. About a year ago, a fund was launched which raised over NIS 1 million towards buying a new apartment for her that is suitable for her needs.

  1. Attention headline Editor. That would be Police Officers. I know. You were racking your brain for that term they use. They don’t say policeperson, but nice try.

    And, i am very sorry for this tragic story. The terrorist was clearly not “neutralized” quite sufficiently.
