Ulam Yitzchak To Be Open To Jews At Ma’aras HaMachpelah This Sunday


On this coming Sunday, 7 Tishrei, the main slichos will be held at the Ma’aras HaMachpelah and the Ulam Yitzchak will be open as well.

Beginning at 4:00AM, until after slichos – at 2:00AM on the eve of Monday, 8 Tishrei, the Machpelah will be open to Jews exclusively, including Ulam Yitzchak. Many are expected during this time period, including admorim and thousands of mispallalim. According to the present schedule. The Karliner Rebbe is expected at 7:30PM along with 2,500 chassidim, to be mispallel in the Machpelah.

Beginning at 8:00PM, slichos tours of the Jewish community will begin. One must register a group in advance by calling 052-319-1902.

Beginning at 11:30PM, there will be a gathering led by the Chief Sephardi Rav of Tzefas, HaRav Shmuel Eliyahu. There will be musical accompaniment too. There are options for bus transportation from Yerushalayim and Bnei Brak providing one makes advanced reservations on the website. The cost from Yerushalayim is NSI 60, from Bnei Brak, NIS 80 and the slichos tours are NIS 10.
