Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan met with Israel Police Commissioner Roni Alshich, informing him that his term will not be extended for an additional year as occurs in most cases. As such, Alshich’s term will end in December 2018.
Erdan thanked Alshich for his long-standing and highly-acclaimed service for the security of the nation and its citizens, noting that during his tenure as police commissioner, Israel Police has intensified and undergone important changes and processes that have improved its functioning and capabilities.

I wonder why! Hasn’t he served with dignity, for the most part? Is it possibly becuase of his kippa – something Erdan can’t stand!!
I guess investigating the Prime Minister and his family wasn’t the smartest career move.
