An Additional Arrest Made In Vandalism Against Breslov Beis Medrash In Meah Shearim


A Jerusalem police spokesman reports that in line with the announced arrest of five suspects at the end of September in connection with vandalism to the Breslov Beis Medrash in Meah Shearim, a sixth arrest has been made, a man in his 20s.

The latest arrest is connected to the most recent violence at that location, which took place during Sukkos, as reported by YWN-Israel.

The vandalism and disturbances at the beis medrash during the Yomim Tovim Stem from opposition to permitting Rabbi Eliezer Berland and his chassidim into the beis medrash due to the horrific acts committed against innocent persons R”L by the rabbi.

  1. This man was a ichud hatzala volunteer, who when hatzala showed up to treat those injured, he told them no one was hurt and to go back home. Meanehile there was someone with a broken rib, multiple people with lacerations requiring stitches, and others who needed more minor medical attention.
