IT WASN’T TERROR: Israel Concludes “Lightning Storm” Likely Caused Rocket That Struck Beersheva Home

Israeli intelligence has determined, with a high degree of certainty, that the rocket that slammed into a children’s bedroom in a Beersheva home last week was not an intentional rocket attack as first believed. This is why the Security Cabinet did not vote to order a military operation in Gaza.

According to a Ynet report, quoting ministers who are on the Security Cabinet, a “lightning storm” led to a malfunction and the rocket launch, striking the home. B’chasdei Hashem there was no loss of life or serious injury, but the attack led to cries, demanding a full-scale military operation against the Hamas terrorist infrastructure in Gaza.

In fact, the report states the ministers add that both Hamas and the Islamic Jihad were “embarrassed” by the rocket launch, and the terror organizations exchanged accusations against one another.

Ynet adds the ministers serving on the Security Cabinet mocked the lighting storm explanation at first, but this was backed up by intelligence community reports, leading to the ministers understanding the credibility of the report.

  1. The history of Israel is full of idiotic and ridiculous statements from its governments but this is a whole new level. The government of Israel, headed by the betrayer of Hevron is apologizing for the actions of the Gaza terrorists!! Maybe the betrayer should send IDF advisers to Gaza to teach the psychotic, murdering terrorist how to better protect and maintain their weapons??

The mantra repeated at every possible venue is: “There is no alternative to Bibi.” I say that a store window manikin could do a better job. How long before the people of Israel wake up from their sleep and realize what incompetent embarrassments we have for a government?
