VIDEO: We Don’t Just Give Hamas $15 Million, We Eat Its Produce Too!

(VIDEO IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

The following video is perhaps no less shocking than the fact the Government of Israel recently approved Qatar turning over $15 million in cash to the Hamas regime, reportedly to pay the salaries to the Hamas administration employees and agencies.

The video, taken at the Jerusalem wholesale market in Givat Shaul, shows that produce from Gaza continues flowing into Israel, is packed in cartons with Hebrew writing, and the Arabic labels showing the origin being Gaza removed. This wholesale market supplies supermarkets throughout Yerushalayim and the area, as well as Machane Yehuda.

So Israel is not only permitting the $15 million given to Gaza, which is likely to be used for continuing to fund Hamas’ terrorist agenda, but Israelis are also supporting Gaza farmers and eating their produce.

Perhaps adding insult to injury is the fact that the nation’s Ministry of Agriculture is none other than Uri Ariel, of the Bayit Yehudi party. The dati leumi community often attacks the “Badatzim”, particularly during shmirah year, for “supporting the Arabs”, and here, we see the dati leumi minister closing his eyes to not only supporting Arabs, but Israel’s most hostile enemies. Adding to the frustration is one cannot know if one is buying Israeli, Gazan of PA (Palestinian Authority) produce in a place like Machane Yehuda, for it is all mixed at the Givat Shaul facility; and as seen, Gaza produce is packed in cartons with Hebrew writing, so once again, the packaging is not an indicator of the origin of the produce.

  1. This has been well known. Israelis rarely grow the lower profit crops, such as cucumbers. The only choice is to import. Importing from Gaza is unfortunate, but without any income they will starve.
