WATCH IT: Plea Against Distracted Driving From ZAKA Founder Following Horrific Fatal Crash

(PHOTOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

Two persons were killed in a vehicular crash which occurred on Tuesday, 12 Kislev, on Kvish (Highway) 6 northbound near the Kassam Interchange when a truck and a private vehicle collided.

Magen David Adom personnel pronounced the victims dead on the scene of the crash. Fire rescue had to extricate the victims from the twisted metallic remains. Police accident investigators were called to the scene in line with protocol in fatal accidents.

The preliminary investigation reveals the private vehicle slammed into the parked truck. The truck driver was lightly injured. The fatalities were from the passenger vehicle.

Once again, ZAKA head Yehuda Meshi-Zahav makes an appeal to the tzibur to be more attentive on the road while operating a vehicle, explaining that including these two latest victims, 276 persons have been killed in accidents on Israel’s roadways in 2018, and in many cases, due to the driver being distracted for a second or two, since that is all it takes. He explains this accident occurred on Kvish 6, one of the best roadways in the country and road conditions were excellent.

Just a few weeks ago, Meshi-Zahav made a video at the scene of the crash which took the lives of the 8 members of the Shevach family.

  1. Heart Broken!!! Heart Broken!!! Heart Broken!!! Same time I have a feeling that there are Jewish Graves on route 6 in Israel and that’s why the accidents are happening there so frequently . This is a clear message from Hashem to us not to desecrate Jewish graves.
