The extreme left-wing Peace Now organization is accusing Yesha (Yehuda and Shomron) rabbis of using religion as a base for inciting violence and anti-government behavior.
Peace Now director Yariv Oppenheimer stated that rabbis affiliated with the Yesha Rabbinical Forum use their positions and observance as a platform to turn followers against the democratic fibers of the country.
Oppenheimer’s statements were prompted by a recent halachic ruling by a senior official in the rabbinical organization, Kiryat Arba Chief Rabbi Dov Lior, who ruled it is forbidden to give the Arabs weapons and anything possible must be done from preventing this from taking place.

Kiryat Arba Chief Rabbi Dov Lior says not to give guns to arabs and “peace” now is upset because the arabs may not get the guns???
so this organization that calls itself “peace” now wants the arabs to have tools of war???
If Rav Lior said no chocolate for arabs or no coffee or even no Thursday night chulent, I could understand “peace” now becoming upset. but no guns??? perhaps “peace now should change their name to appease now!
it means peace now for the arabs, by giving them guns so they can take care care of their enemies then have peace.
