A 40-year-old woman was killed on Wednesday evening after she was injured by gunfire in Tel Sheva in the Negev. The woman was brought in critical condition to the local medical center, where she was eventually pronounced dead. Police were dispatched to the scene and have begun a full investigation.

Two brothers of the woman are currently serving prison sentences for the murder of their sister some 12-years-ago.

Early reports said that the woman was killed by a stray bullet during an incident of violence. However, witnesses reported that the incident was prompted by an honor killing.
