Three IDF Soldiers were wounded a short time ago in a vehicular ramming attack in Al-Arroub, south of Gush Etzion Junction, towards Karmei Tzur.
According to the Magen David Adom report, one of the soldiers sustained moderate wounds to his arms and legs, and two soldiers sustained light injuries.
Another soldier shot the terrorist, ending the rampage. The terrorist was pronounced dead.
It appears the terrorist, who was driving a Berlingo, struck three IDF soldiers along the Jerusalem-Hebron Road. The troops were performing engineering work.
The terrorist was identified by Palestinian officials as Ramzi Abu Yabes, a ‘nurse’ from the nearby Deheishe refugee camp.
United Hatzalah volunteer Ashi Glazer who was one of the first responders at the scene who treated the injured said: “Together with IDF medical teams I treated one patient who was in moderate condition and two others in light to moderate conditions. The driver of the car was shot after ramming the pedestrians and he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
