Gas Prices To Drop Significantly In Israel On Motzei Shabbos


If you are planning to fill your car’s gas tank before Shabbos, wait, as gas prices for 95 octane gasoline in Israel will be dropping significantly on motzei Shabbos, by 47 agorot per liter. The price drop goes into effect at midnight on motzei Shabbos.

After the price drop, a liter of 95 octane gas in Israel for self-service pumps will not exceed NIS 6.01 including VAT, which is the equivalent of $6.44/US gallon based on the Bank of Israel closing rate on Wednesday, 20 Kislev, of 1 US dollar=3.73 shekels. The price at full-service pumps is 21 agorot more per liter.

Vehicles displaying a valid Ministry of Transportation disabled permit can pull up to full-service pumps, call via the intercom for an attendant, and receive full-service at the self-service price in accordance to the law.
