A 5-year-old chareidi boy was moderately injured on Tuesday morning as he made his way to cheder with his knapsack on his back, hit by a vehicle on Kadima Street in the city’s Ramot neighborhood. He was transported to the emergency room of Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
The female driver was detained for questioning, and the accident is under investigation.
It is not reported if the child was crossing in an authorized crosswalk when struck.
