3-Month-Old Jerusalem Infant Found At Home In Cardiac Arrest


A three-month-old infant from a chareidi family in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood of Yerushalayim on Sunday was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest when EMTs from United Hatzalah arrived. The infant was transported to the hospital while CPR was ongoing.

United Hatzalah EMT Chezi Roth reports that he was among the first on the scene and they immediately determined the infant was in cardiac arrest. They began CPR and called for additional units.

Magen David Adom paramedics began advanced life support and transported the child. B’chasdei Hashem, the child’s spontaneous pulse returned in the hospital emergency room.

No information is furnished that might indicate the cause for the infant going into cardiac arrest.
