VIDEO/PHOTOS: Border Police Apprehend Jerusalem Firebombers In The Act


An undercover unit of the border police apprehended terrorists from the Shuafat refugee camp who were throwing firebombs towards Moshe Dayan Boulevard in Jerusalem.

The undercover unit took up position in the area on Thursday January 24, 2019, in response to attacks, hoping to catch the perpetrators, which they did. The elite unit was aware that there have been numerous firebomb and rock-throwing attack against Israeli motorists on Moshe Dayan Blvd. in the direction of Pisgat Ze’ev.

The accompanying photos and video show the terrorists lighting and throwing the incendiary device towards the main vehicular route, at which time they are apprehended. Two suspects were taken into custody and a third, which continued trying to throw another firebomb, was injured by border police gunfire. He was transported to a Jerusalem hospital in moderate condition.

After questioning, a 13-year-old suspect was released to his home and the other two suspects, 13 and 14-years-old, from Shuafat refugee camp, were remanded until Thursday, January 31, 2019.
