Hadassah Spokesperson: Tehila Regains Partial Consciousness But Her Condition Remains Unstable


It has been ten days since a 15-year-old girl was critically injured when struck by a metallic object while in school in Jerusalem, leaving her family calling on Am Yisrael to be mispallel for her, Tehila bas Yael.

On Sunday, February 24, 2019, the spokesperson of Hadassah Hospitals, Hadar Elboim, reported that “she has regained partial consciousness, and one can communicate with her somewhat,” but was quick to add that “her condition remains unstable and she is required to additional care and a long road of rehabilitation”.

The family calls on the tzibur to please continue being mispallel for her total recovery bsoch sha’ar cholei yisrael.

Last week, the family told the press they are now certain the so-called accident was an act of terror, calling on police and other authorities to probe the matter and to once again question the workers on the construction site.

Mr. Avraham Ben-Zino, Tehila’s father, turned to authorities in a Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) interview, stating he is quite certain the object that left his daughter fighting for her life did not fall accidently as reported, but it was hurled intentionally in what was an act of terror.
