American-Israeli Woman Claims Gantz Harassed Her in the 1970s

An Israeli woman living in the United States uses a Facebook page to point an accusing finger at Blue and White party leader Benny Gantz, a candidate for the premiership, accusing him of harassing her when she was a 14-year-old girl. “The Blue and White Party denies this: It is an absolute lie – behind the claim are political parties with an interest in causing harm. The mater is being addressed on the legal level.”

According to the Chareidim10 News report, the Israeli resident in the United States named Nava Yaakov (Nebrun Jacobs) said in a post on her Facebook page Wednesday that Benny Gantz, head of the Blue and White faction, harassed her about 40 years ago when she was 14 and studied in Kfar HaYarok.

Gantz’s party denied the allegation.

The party added that Gantz’s lawyers would file a lawsuit against the post’s publisher and the person who sent it. In a letter sent by the lawyers to the person who wrote the post, they accuse “political elements with an interest in harming and injuring” are behind the post.

Gantz hints that political factors are behind the publication of the post at this time.

In the past months, even before her current post, Jacobs has posted asking followers to send her stories about Ganz’s actions in Kfar HaYarok. On the picture in which Gantz looks threateningly at the collar of a demonstrator’s coat last week, she wrote: “That’s the Gantz I know!”

Then she published another post in which she promised to reveal the story of the case and asked right-wing activists to give her backing at the time of publication.

The Likud said in response: “The Likud is not connected to the publication in question of Benny Gantz on social networks.”
