Chareidi-Hating Tiveria Mayor Harasses Cheder Children, Fights With Local Merchants, Parks in Handicapped Zone [VIDEOS]

Tiveria’s vehemently anti-chareidi mayor, Ron Kobi, who claims to place social issues and equality above all else, seems to exclude the disabled in those policies.

In recent days, the Ombudsman for Equality for People with Disabilities in the Ministry of Justice filed a complaint against the Municipality of Tiveria regarding the new parking space that was prepared for Mayor Ron Kobi, located on the only road that connects the municipality building to the disabled.

According to the report in Israel Today, next to the new parking lot, a signpost was posted that reads: “Reserved parking for the mayor and his guests”.

Until now, the mayor had reserved parking, in a covered complex that has existed for years, but farther from the entrance to the building than the new makeshift parking.

A resident of Tiveria who visited the place, said: “One time I visited here, I saw a disabled person who could not pass with his wheelchair, because the mayor’s vehicle blocked the road.”

Meanwhile, Kobi seems to love taking his phone and getting into scuffles and altercations with anyone he can. Below are two recent clips.

One is when he got out of his car to confront young Cheder children who called him a Rasha. Instead of continuing on his way, the man who hold a respectable office decided to jump out of car with his camera rolling.

Another recent video is when Kobi was confronted by local merchants.

  1. Pathetic article .
    Poorly Written .
“ A resident of Tiveria …. “ blah blah blah .. hearsay from an anonymous “resident” .
    Petty Lashon Horah throughout.
Mayor of the town can’t have a more convenient parking spot ? Who cares ?

  2. The bigger problem here is that this is the kind of person the people chose to elect as their leader. What does this say about the people of Tverya?
