VIDEO: Arabs Play Soccer on Har Habayis in Continued Violation of the High Court

While Israel’s Supreme Court has ruled that playing soccer and other similar activities, by Muslims and others alike, is prohibited on Har Habayis, the soccer continues.

This ruling was handed down in light of the sanctity of the site.

However, as seen in the accompanying video, Jews visiting the holy site on Monday, April 30 called this to the attention of police, who were well-aware of the ongoing soccer game, and when then called on police to enforce the High Court ruling, the Jews were distanced and told “don’t worry, we are taking care of matters”.

YWN NOTES: Gedolei Yisrael over the generations and the Chief Rabbinate of Israel prohibit visiting Har Habayis, which they explain carries the punishment of karess.

  1. Well if I ain’t allowed somewhere no one is !?!
Second of all ! Playing ball on Shabbos was the catalyst for har shimons downfall from the book of legends a composition of Torah by Bialyik and ravnitzky ! Kids are afforded all sorts allowances it shouldn’t bother a visitor that much ! Be like the sons of the patriarchs and Aharon
Why did you visit the holiest place in the universe ?
Come in peace and go in peace

  2. Why should they be arrested??? Are jews that smoke on shabbos arrested in Israel? Are jews that eat pork arrested in Israel? Are jews that eat on Yom Kipur arrested in Israel? The state of Israel is not run according to jewish law (as you know), so why is going up on the har habayis to be treated differently by the state authorities then for eating chametz on Pesach?
The only thing behind this fuss of yours that I can think of, is that for some reason, a jew going up on the har habayis b’tum’ah makes your blood boil more then when a jew is mechalel Shabbos or eats bread in his home on Pesach. And why is that so?
