A 60-year-old man was stabbed to death in the Katamon neighborhood of southern Jerusalem, Tuesday morning.

Police were called to a residential address on Bar Yochai Street in Jerusalem following a reported stabbing. Medical forces determined the death of the victim. The policemen who arrived at the scene quickly arrested a suspect.

Police on the scene indicated it appears the stabbing was criminally motivated and it was not an act of terror.
