Rocket Fired from Syria Damaged Mt. Hermon Ski Resort Cable


There was a report of damage from the two rockets fired into northern Israel from Syria. Israel has since retaliated for the missile attack.

Officials in the Mount Hermon ski lodge atop of the Golan Heights report a cable on an upper line was hit and damaged by rocket shrapnel.

Ski resort officials add that currently, the ski lodge is not operational as it only operates during the winter months, but it does remain open to visitors during the summer months and the cable cars do operate. B’chasdei Hashem, no one was injured in the attack.
