Jerusalem Police Grant A Wish To Two Jerusalem Brothers [VIDEO & PHOTOS]

Jerusalem police have once again granted a wish, this time to two brothers living in the city, permitting them to enlist and serve as policemen for a day. The department’s mobile “Make a Wish” vehicle was at their disposal.

Yonatan, 7, and brother Itai, 6, have a dream, to become policemen, to serve in a police station and address the daily challenges that police face towards safeguarding the security of citizens.

Police did not remain indifferent, and they arranged for the Make a Wish vehicle to pick them up, permitting them to fulfil their dream for a day. As seen in the accompanying video and photos, the two were given uniforms, nametags, and then set out to begin their day.

They were able to experience the work of forensic technicians, horseback units, operate the bomb squad robot and more. As the day was ending, the commanders and policepersons at the station gave them an honor guard goodbye.

The department explains: “We are pleased to have the right to represent the work of our police officers to the future generation, to delight them in a unique way, and to give them a taste of the daily work involved with the aim of enlisting them in the ranks of the department when the time comes”.
