A number of Kadima Party MKs met on Friday to discuss current political realities surrounding the investigation against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert vis-à-vis the party.

The event was organized by MK Amira Dotan and it was attended by a number of faction members including Michael Nudelman and Isaac Ben-Israel.

The MKs released a statement explaining the purpose of the meeting, stating that there is not a conspiracy or a coup, but there is a need to exchange ideas and discuss the current realities created due to the ongoing investigation against the prime minister. They explained they also fell the need to probe ideas and ways to propel Kadima forward ahead of Knesset elections.
