Doctors at Tel Aviv’s Tel Hashomer Hospital on Sunday will perform additional surgical procedures on terror victims Avital [bat Penina], 24, and her 2-year-old daughter Ta’ir. The mother and daughter sustained serious injuries in last Wednesday’s rocket attack in Chutzot Shopping Center in Ashkelon.

While doctors reported an improvement in their condition, family members worriedly pointed out that doctors are still working to save Ta’ir’s right leg. Adi, Ta’ir’s dad, explained that doctors have indicated the coming days will determine if they will be successful in saving her leg.
