Israel’s Ban On Non-Citizens Extended Until August 1

The Israel Aviation Authority released a statement on Thursday that the ban of non-Israeli citizens from entering Israel has been extended until August 1.

Any non-citizens who arrive in Israel will be placed on a flight back to their country of origin.

Travelers bearing special permits from the Israeli government for exceptional cases will be allowed to enter.

The ban has been extended due to the alarming rise of coronavirus cases in Israel in recent days. Israeli citizens arriving in Israel are required to quarantine for two weeks upon arrival.

  1. The ban has been extended due to the alarming rise of coronavirus cases in Israel in recent days. But the alarming raise isn’t because of foreigners entering Israel, but because of the obstinacy of the Department of Education to shutter schools & kindergartens, so the Israeli Government is missing the point, but destroying Israel’s economy whilst at the same time not even solving the Corona rise.

  2. Bochurim please start listening to shidduchim – you can always go to Israel after and stay as long as you want. It is not far fetched to think that hashem is pulling the strings here to ameliorate the situation where boys have been unknowingly been pushed to marry later and later which is and has caused great harm to the shidduchim process besides it not being halachically ideal. Increasing the age differential between when boys and girls start dating creates an unevenness in the numbers of boys and girls available and hurts everyone. You are already mature. Listen to suggestions. It is normal these days and getting more and more in style.
