When the state�s star witness against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert gives his testimony in the Jerusalem District Court on Tuesday, the prime minister�s attorneys are not expected to cross examine. Olmert�s legal team has signaled that Talansky will not face their questions when he takes the stand on Tuesday.

Olmert�s legal team stated they have not had sufficient time to prepare for the deposition but some analysts feel the move is an intention ploy, with the prime minister�s attorneys hoping that by not asking the witness questions, they will in a sense be de-legitimizing his testimony, at least to some degree.
